Muslims Rescuing Darfur is a Muslim effort to educate Muslims and Non-Muslims about the crisis in the Darfur region of Sudan. We also have a Yahoo User group called MRD-SD. We are a group of Muslims who realize that Darfur is a serious humanitarian crisis and needs immediate attention from everyone. Guided by the principles of the Holy Quran and encouraged by the teachings of our Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) we hope to make a positive difference in reducing the suffering of the people of Darfur and raising the awareness of the general public about the current crisis.
